I nearly forgot to blog. Shame, shame, shame as they said in Game of Thrones. I have a good reason. I was securing the game plan for tomorrow. What happens tomorrow? My Seester will be distributing some of their hygiene products. I wish I could hit all the spots and have one on one conversations with the ladies. The conversation would educate My Seester on how else we can help them, help themselves. I don’t have that luxury. And, as it was alerted to me “one pad is a stop gap”. The person further mentioned you do more by going to facilities rather than giving to individuals. So, tomorrow the plan is to hit the shelters but leave My Seester’s contact information. I won’t mentioned the places here because some of the ladies are fleeing. Remember my earlier post about the definition of homelessness.
Thank you again to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the girls who volunteered to put the kits together. Also, special thank you to Sheryl Weir-Latty without her none of this would have been possible.
Remember the following,
“Lift up your eyes and see the good in the world, for we are people with an amazing capacity to do great good. And if only the minority choose to exercise this capacity to the smallest degree, oh how wondrous and sweet the deeds performed at but a few hands!”
